He grew up in the scenic midlands of what was then East Germany, where he developed a love for the outdoors and an early interest in visual art and illustration. Photography soon became his chosen medium — a way to explore and express the beauty of the world around him.
What began as a childhood hobby has grown into a lifelong creative pursuit. Markus’s photographs have been featured in Stern Magazine, Professional Photographer Magazine, and exhibited in galleries across Ireland and beyond.
